I have a reserach grant at DEIS (Department of Electronics, Computer Engineering and Systems) at the Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna.

Here I graduated in Computer Science Engineering in October 2004 with a thesis entitled: "Analisi e progetto di un sistema multi-agente per l'interazione avanzata docente studente: Agenti e Servizi".

I got my Ph.D. degree in April 2008, by discussing the thesis "Meta-models, Environment and Layers: Agent-Oriented Engineering of Complex Systems"

My current research activity is mainly focused on:

Software Engineering
Agent Theory
Agent Oriented Software Engineering and Methodologies
SODA Methodology
Coordination
Multi-Agent Systems
Software Development Process
Agent-oriented Situational Method Engineering
Model-driven Development
Interactions and Communications

Other areas of interest are:

Security Engineering
Security Patterns
Software Architectures
Architectural Styles
